MVAA Cheerleaders Finally Win at US Finals!
The MVAA U10 Competition Squad returned from Virginia Beach with a First Place Trophy at the US Finals Cheerleading Competition. 
Nationals for cheerleading are held at Virginia Beach, where an MVAA team has made three appearances before winning!

The U10 Competition Squad competes in the advanced Pee Wee Rec Level 3.  The girls won their division and scored 11 out of 21 teams
for the entire session, beating multiple older and high school level teams.  The girls “WOWED” the crowd with a 2 minute and 30 second routine
filled with advanced stunting, dancing, and tumbling.  They are a fan and DJ favorite as they are the only team to perform to country music. 

An MVAA team has earned a bid for this competition the last three years.  Up until this year MVAA has finished second to last.  In 2009,
the U14 team finished 12 out of 13 and last year this team had a fall and finished 5 out of 6.  To come back and win, without being ranked
in the top 25 teams nationwide is a huge accomplishment.

This squad is coached by Emily Delauter, Missy Payne, Kaitlyn Brant, Kenzi Brigham, and Makenzie Baldwin under the direction of Kelly Delauter. 
This National Championship Team consists of Morgan Baldwin, Caroline Colaianne, Katrina Eisentraut, Olivia Felton, Marykate Geppert,
Jillian Germain, Lauren Graham, Brooklyn Poff, Sami Remsburg, Lauren Steingrebe, Jordan Stauffer, Ashley Topper, Alice Weir, Hanna Westwood,
and Rebecca Ziegler.

The girls have ended another successful season.  This year they finished first at all 10 competitions they attended.  Their wins and success are
attributed to hard work, determination, and passion for the sport.

MVAA KNIGHT CREW ROCKS SIX FLAGS
Sunday, April 17th, at Six flags of America, a group of guys known as KNIGHT CREW, performed at a cheer competition. The guys did an awesome job and took home a first place trophy. Their hard work and dedication to their team paid off. The fans went wild when the guys did their 2 ½ minute routine full of jumps, tumbling, stunting, dancing and a cheer. They were the hit of the day.

The team members were Robert Brady, Chase Delauter, Dave Eisentraut, Jack Felton, Joey Felton, Gary Geppert, Bill Germain, Jeff Graham, Cameron Kolega, Ryan Payne, Robert Remsberg, Brian Stauffer, Larry Steingrebe, Jeff Weir, Tom Westwood.

Stunting/Condition Clinics!
During the off season we know the girls are looking for something to do. We are making stunting/conditioning clinics available once a month.
They are $25 per child and are scheduled from 9-12 on Saturdays. This gives the girls a chance to get together with each other and keep up
with the sport they enjoy.

SPIRIT CAMP

The MVAA Cheer Program is inviting you to come join our summer Spirit Camps. We offer a week long camp where we teach proper techniques of cheering, tumbling, jumping, stunting and most of all have fun. Spirit Camp is a great introduction to cheerleading. This camp is open to everyone. Registration forms will be available at sign-ups, at MVAA desk and in main offices of the local schools.
