MVAA Field Hockey

The field hockey program is currently offered in the spring and is open to 3rd through 8th graders. It is an instructional program including skill development, game knowledge/strategies and game experience.

There are currently four participating youth organizations in our league. The high school players act as coaches under the direction of Ginni DuMars. We usually start practices the last week in March and run through to the first week of June. We practice twice a week and our games are scheduled on these practice nights.

Our goal is for the girls to learn the game, enjoy the game and hopefully go on to play in high school.

 

 

 

  • Practices will start March 22nd (weather permitting) and run through the first week in June.

 

  • Practices will be Mondays and Thursdays 4:00-5:15 on the field adjacent to the Middletown Middle School.

 

  • All players must have two mouth guards to start practices. Sticks are available to borrow and all players must have shinguards.
