MVAA Lacrosse
Message from the Lacrosse Director
Welcome to the MVAA Youth Lacrosse home page. MVAA Youth Lacrosse is the feeder program for Middletown High School. Our approach is one of inclusion and participation for all. The Boys and Girls in our program learn the game and have FUN. We preach the concept of "TEAM" at all levels to
be practiced on the field and off. In this process, we develop players into young men and women that work together to serve the greater good. MVAA fielded 11 teams in the spring of 2010 as a member of the Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Conference (WMYLC – www.wmylc.org).
We had record numbers with 135 boys and 83 girls participating last spring season in four different age groups including U9, U11, U13 and U15. MVAA Lacrosse also participates in a Winter Indoor Lacrosse program held at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center (FISC – www.frederickindoor.com). Record numbers were fielded here as well with boys and girls elementary and middle school teams.
Additionally, we hold an annual Boys Lacrosse summer camp each year which is highly attended by players from all across the region. Join the fun over the summer - sign up for LAX Camp! Click HERE for more info.
Thank you for visiting us!
Sincerely,
Mike Hallman
