MVAA Softball:

Girls Softball is available for ages U-8, U-10, U-12 and U-15. We are proud to have so many girls involved this year. We are continually striving to teach the girls the fundamentals that will follow them to the high school level. The girls play their home games at the Harp Field located on Franklin Street in Middletown.

There are some home games for the U-8 level that are played at the Middletown Elementary field.
 

Spring 2010 Information:

*  The Game Schedule for the age groups:

    U-8:  Wednesdays and Saturdays
    U-10: Tuesdays and Fridays
    U-12: Mondays and Wednesdays
    U-15: Tuesdays and Thursdays

*  Generally, pre-season practices are on the same days as their game schedule   above.  After games start, practices might be held on weekends.

*  Practice will start either the first or middle of March.

*  U-8 level is coach pitch.  All other levels are kid pitch.

*  Any age level that may have multiple teams will be divided up by director/coach discretion.  This is done only in an attempt to keep some groups of girls together that have played together over the last few seasons.  The girls develop a rapport with each other and they learn our coaching style. The girls learn how to play as a team when they play with the same girls over and over.  This skill comes over time - it's not immediate.
