Girls Flag FootballGo to Registration →

MVAA Flag Football competes in the Mountain Valley Youth Football League and completed a highly successful inaugural season. The program welcomed nearly 60 athletes and fielded three teams composed of girls in grades 6–8. The D2 team, coached by Chip, advanced to the D2 Championship game, highlighting the program’s immediate competitiveness and potential.

Girls flag football is the fastest-growing sport in the world, and under Chip’s leadership, MVAA is committed to matching that momentum both in participation and on-field performance. Plans are underway to expand early athlete engagement, explore sponsorship opportunities, and create offseason development options such as camps and clinics. Fall registration is expected to open in April, with additional summer opportunities to follow.

MVAA Flag Football is excited to continue building a strong, sustainable program—one that develops confident athletes, fosters teamwork and leadership, and consistently competes for championships year after year.
